Markman Portfolios is the private money management service offered by Validea Capital Management through our exclusive partnership with Jon Markman. Using a combination of proprietary systematic investment strategies and insight and expertise on the global markets and economies, clients of Markman Portfolios can have their portfolios invested exclusively in investment strategies jointly created by Validea Capital and Jon Markman. The investment approaches offered by Markman Portfolios seek to produce long-term growth of capital through a unique use of quantitative investing techniques and market trending approaches, while maintaining a focus on capital preservation.

Markman Portfolios clients are invested using proprietary strategies developed jointly by Validea Capital and Jon Markman. Markman co-created the algorithmic investment models utilized in our portfolios, and has been tracking the results since 2001 and managing model portfolios on behalf of research customers since 2002. He was portfolio manager and chief investment strategist for a statistical arbitrage hedge fund from 2002 to 2005; and is currently editor of two premium investment research services -- Strategic Advantage and Trader's Advantage.
